Chef Luciano Kitchen & Chicken

What a pleasant surprise. The recipes used on the dishes we ordered had a lot of thought and care put into them. Very tasty with good portions. 1) Chicken gumbo, very thick and chunky. A lot of meat, good sized vegetable chunks, and nice heat. I wish I had some tabasco to compliment but I found myself not missing it very much. 2) Salmon curry was amazing. I saw a whole clove of garlic as I put the spoon into my mouth and I thought woo boy here comes something I probably won't like, BUT, I was dumbfounded how great it tasted. I dug into my bowl and picked out another clove and it was browned on one side. It was likely roasted prior to adding to the curry dish which made the flavor and texture perfect in the curry. Not to mention the chunks of vegetables and bay leaf I found in there. This all tells me that there was a lot of thought put into the recipe. 3) The Chicken Bolognese. Good but probably my least favorite. Huge serving size, good amount of meat, maybe needed a little more salt or maybe the pasta was not drained long enough. But overall good. To be fair, my tongue may have been numbed from the flavor profiles of the other two dishes LOL. I will definitely try again.

Wow, it's rare that I feel like I get to know a chef through their food but I feel like I got a story about the chef from what I ordered. I imagine they're from a big family because the portions I got were ridonkulous and obviously meant to be shared even if it's advertised as 'for 1', and that their family cooked things from scratch all the time because there were little homey touches in everything, tomato juice in the black beans, slices of orange on the side, even the dried herb garlic bread that your mom would make weekday nights. I seriously enjoyed the food immensely, the value and portions I got were super generous, and the delivery came quick and the food hot, this has been my best Grubhub experience and I am looking forward to trying out this restaurant and bringing my friends.

I 'm so mad that I've overlooked this place for so long. Its a strange Caribbean/Indian Fusion thing going on here that actually works? Who needs Chutney to go with their Chicken Tikka Masala when you have perfectly saut^ed Plantains in Jerk Sauce to balance the savory heat and sweet. I absolutely loved it. Also loved the fusion take on Aloo Mutter, instead of potatoes and peas in a mild sauce, they combined potatoes and black eye peas! Will be going back.

I usually get the same thing from here - the salmon Caesar salad. It is always fresh and well seasoned and they give you a large portion. Sometimes Ive been able to make two meals out of the salad. Great value for the price compared to other restaurants in the area (tastes better too!) Ive had the Brussels sprouts and German chocolate cake here too and those are good as well. I will definitely continue to order from them. Staff is great too!

Food was on time and hot. The gumbo was outstanding. Spicy but not too hot so one couldn't enjoy the flavor and I could taste the vegetables that still had a crunch to them. Very pleasant. The jerk chicken was tasty but way too much to eat. Will order it again. My husband had the fried chicken and fried mushrooms. He enjoyed those as well. Now I'm curious to try the curry.
